Issue #1061 has been updated by Andrew Stormont.


I haven't tried 1.2.28 but with 1.2.26 as well as leaking memory I found that apps that use dbus would hang on exit.  You can test for this with gedit where it's pretty obvious.  That said, 1.4.8 is still working fine here.  I've been using it for about 4 months with no issues so far.

Please upate dbus to version 1.2.26.  It will be needed by my port of HAL 0.5.14.

Downloading the source and configuring and installing with:

./configure --prefix=/usr --sysconfdir=/etc --with-localstatedir=/var --with-dbus-user=daemon --with-dbus-daemondir=/usr/lib 

Works fine on my system.
