This is fantastic.
A modern and maintained desktop... this is a great achievement.

One behaviour difference between old gnome 2 and Mate :
In dual screen configuration, maxinise a window :
- maximise on one screen only on gnome 2
- maximise over the 2 screens on mate.

Same effect on application you can set full screen (vlc, firefox,... )

This is the typical use case in our DC. We use only FC-attached devices.
