according to their website the eol date for 4.4 was even february. october eol is 5.0.

sure, that's always the case with updates.

it needs avx for building? so it needs something for the compilation that requires avx?
that's a first for me. usually programs need certain hardware features for running but building as 
well?
however, mongodb is quite a big one so if the buildserver is old, it's probably better not to block 
that for too long anyway.

haha thanks but i'm lame in this case. i'm just using the tor browser :-P
as far as i'm concerned however, i wouldn't mind keeping it. although it gets abused to some 
extend, i think the general idea is great and for some people it might indeed be the only way 
around censorship.
