They are able to co-exist. Due to the continuing progress of the technology, API improvements of lcms2, and likely security issues, lcms1 should be ditched as soon as possible. All Linux and *BSD OS distributions have ditched lcms1 over the past two years.</span><span><font color="#888888"><br>
