Nikola says he doesn't see crashes, I <br> think this can be related.</div></div></div></div></blockquote><br><br>Ah, ok, thank you.<br>I wished I could reproduce the described core_dump_after_exit_scenario here locally.<br>But whatever, I will look into your patch over the next days and then decide if we should add it no matter what (same encouragement to all other readers who read this).<br><br>After somebody tests if calling the .exe directly helps, we know more.<br>And request to all who ran through this glitch: Please the core file.<br><br>As mentioned earlier: These few core dumps I got happened on my old system with the well known FF37 port http://opensxce.org/.FF/37/i386/<br>And only during cleanup at post-exit time.<br>So I would not call it a crash if something exists abnormally __after__ an user-initiated normal exit.<br>Maybe some free() stuff acessing invalid memory, which only get called during a normal exit()? And then only on specific environments?<br>Mhh. It is a pity. But this doesn't make it much less usable.
