The 'exotic' hardware we are talking here about is supposed to be for high-performance desktop/workstation systems and was released in May i.e. nearly 3 months ago.</div><div><br></div><div>Sure, it sucks that we don't support Core i9 yet, but given the size of the illumos developer community and focus, this is to be expected. The hardware will be supported sooner or later, like always.</div><div><br></div><div>When it comes to tge article I personally consider it unprofessional.
