[OpenIndiana-discuss] root pw on fresh install?

I guess I have just ignored that...  all I do is go into /etc/shadow 
turned the 0 to a special number and that is it. I never try to log in 
directly as root only su into root.  I guess I could use pfexec but I am 
just used to su.  If I am doing something dangerous (beyond rooting 
around) then please let me know.  I just like the way solaris 10 did it.
