[Bugs-team] Issue with workstation icons

I am having an issue with a fresh install of openindiana workstation. I try
and go to Update Manager, it prompts me for the root password, then nothing
happens.

I can get the application to run via the terminal with: sudo
pm-updatemanager

I still have the issue even after running all the updates.

I noticed the same issue with many of the other icons as well.

I am running oi-dev-151a-x86 with the updates
Plain default fresh install
as a VM using VMware Player 4.0.4
vmware tools are up to date with version 8.8.4

I tried searching google and looking for forums first, but with no luck.
