Hi there, as per the subject I have a problem that I can not understand and
solve.
I made a small storage with openindiana 151a7, installed on a HP Micro
Server N40L.
which I think is an excellent solution for small offices.
Storage is configured with the os on a disk 250GB sata and data with a
zpool mirror from Sichi sata 500G.
I used a smb share on a dataset with these parameters:
guestok = true
CaseSensitivity = mixed
nbmand = on
aclinherit = passthrough
Storage there are at least 6 clients pc windows, they all have access to
that shared folder.
The problem is that a random file copied or moved to a subdirectory, loses
all permissions.
it becomes 000 with no owner and no group. for them is denied access to the
file.
I must then rimenttere permissions to the file, and all is well.
This, however, occurs frequently and randomly. I just can not figure out
what could cause this problem.
I'm glad if someone can give me a hint and he can help me.
thanks
Andrea
