Bug #1522: eject fails for normal user
https://www.illumos.org/issues/1522
Author: Peter Tribble
Status: Feedback
Priority: Low
Assignee: OI illumos
Category: OS/Net (Kernel and Userland)
Target version: oi_151_stable
Difficulty: Bite-size
Tags: SUNWcs
Running OI151a, I attempt to eject the cd/dvd. It fails:
~$ eject cdrom
eject of cdrom /dev/dsk/c2t1d0s2 failed: hal-storage-can-unmount-volumes-mounted-by-others refused uid 101
I'm forced to eject the cd as root, which is definitely undesirable.
