I think the new-developers list is sparsely populated at the moment - we 
haven't done a huge amount of advertising of it, so your requests for 
help probably aren't reaching the right people, especially as this is 
quite a technical issue and you have a lot background :-)

Would you mind re-posting to the main oi-dev list?

Alan Coopersmith at Oracle maintains the XNV consolidation and may also 
be able to help you, I believe he follows the oi-dev list.

If you don't get any answers on there, I'll try and prod/poke some 
people :-)
