Hello Tima,

your questions were related to Kernel/Drivers only, wich is just out of
scope for the OpenIndiana Distribution. We're using Illumos ON starting
with 151 and all your Questions depend on how Illumos will evolve. The
focus of the current commercial Illumos sponsors is Storage/Hosting,
thus you can expect most developments in areas relevant for such
usecases. However, it's an open community, there are already efforts to
implement KMS in Illumos, thus we'll possible be able to support newer
graphic hardware soon. If you want to get a feeling about the vitality
