Thanks for the response. My apologies for responding to you late (long weekend in U.S). The problem I mentioned, happens in other circumstances
like when updating the newly built kernel with the onu shell script. In that case, it consistently times out during the update of "drivers/graphics/nvidia" device driver. The cause seems to be with the pkg OpenIndiana repository. Thanks, in advance for spending time for this.
