Driver issues should be filed against illumos-gate (not OpenIndiana) here:
http://www.illumos.org/projects/illumos-gate/issues

Use cat /dev/sndstat and audiotest for diagnostics.

There was an incomplete port of OSS4's Envy24 driver (
http://opensolaris.org/jive/thread.jspa?threadID=125584 ) which would
need additional work.
