Did you solve your problem ? We have an ixgbe now running well with
OI-151a7 (never checked a5):

pci111d,806e (pciex111d,806e), instance #13 (driver name: pcieb)
   pci108e,f25f (pciex8086,10c6), instance #0 (driver name: ixgbe)
   pci108e,f25f (pciex8086,10c6), instance #1 (driver name: ixgbe)

Your 10fb is listed in /etc/driver_aliases, so it is known to
the driver.
