As for Linux, I'd avoid saying that it's clone of Minix. Let's leave 
something more neutral,
like "was written from scratch to be like Unix" or something similar.

I agree with Alexander , Tannenbaum himself said once that there is no common relation ...and was quite  upset IIRC...

encouraged to perform a clean install."
I'm not sure about this. 151a7 should be able to update to Hipster 
without issues AFAICT.

I can confirm flawless upgrade to hipster 2015 from 151ax just done pkg set publisher.
