Hello,
You'll want to test SoX as well at some point.
 Many of the legacy tools like SongBird and Moovida may get affected so we'll have to test everything afterwards ordecide to drop them....

OK. That's what I wanted to know.

So basically:
- I have now built and installed Pulseaudio 8.0 from Ken's component,
- I will try to fix the 32 bit versions of Gstreamer plugins,
- I will rebuild VLC agains that.

Note that older software like Rhythmbox 0.13.3 is only 0.10 compatible.
