Hello,

There are actually two driver versions: AMDgpu and AMDgpu-PRO (full featured, closed kernel sources)

AMDgpu driver mainly supports the AMD Radeon R7 260/260X and R9 GPUs.


Yes, same linux driver.

source driver was called Radeon..  The "amdgpu" driver I'm aware of
was originally planned to be Fiji class cards (Volcanic Islands?) and
forward, but they ended up (recently) porting it to Hawaii class cards
(known at Southern Islands)

I'm not sure if this is the same or similar thing and just curious..
(If it is that would be very cool)
