I am happy to pick something up of your list, as I mentioned before I am a dev newbie so something relatively simple would be great. It would be nice to get more details on what's involved and particular tasks.

Hi,
since 2017.04 is out, I have a few points on my TODO list for X11:

- Update to Xorg 1.19 (which I already tested a few weeks ago).
- General drm/i915 improvements:
  * Update of the EDID code in the driver (to fix display detection issues),
  * Backport of HW  bug fixes from recent Linux.
- Fix detection of Synaptics touchpads.
- Add Nvidia 360.x series and mediate driver installation.
- Complete the update of fonts.

If someone can step up to help me keep up with Xorg libraries updates and
help with fonts it would be great.
