Thanks for the test.  My guess is that there is no driver for the vnet
interface.  I don't know which driver it could be.  The packages for
installed network drivers all seem to be for hardware devices.

Could you do `svcs -xv' just to verify that all the SMF services are
running.  My guess is that they are.
