[oi-dev] Writing the USB image

This is just a note I'm forwarding on.

The documentation should probably be improved - the "old"
way to write the USB image should probably be removed or
at least be well hidden. And I'm not sure what the currently
correct way to write the image is on Windows (and I have no
access to Windows either).
