Hi all,
I regularly use "uname -a" to look at the git hash for the illumos
base (in order to know what libraries and such would be compatible).
After an update today I see the version shown there is apparently
something else? I also tried "mcs -p".
gwr at gwr-oi2$ uname -a
SunOS gwr-oi2 5.11 illumos-3984682357 i86pc i386 i86pc
gwr at gwr-oi2$ mcs -p /kernel/amd64/genunix
/kernel/amd64/genunix:
@(#)illumos illumos-3984682357 May 2021
Is there another way to get the get hash given installed binaries?
Thanks,
Gordon
