I noticed that too.  I thought at first that it was an illumos
problem, but now I believe that it's another manifestation of the same
OI problem.  I'm assuming now that dbus is not noticing changes in USB
devices, but I want to confirm that theory with more testing on OI.
The next step is to determine why this is happening.
