You don't neet a MD5 check. The original "torrent" file comes from
OpenIndiana, and it is "safe". You are a seed, like any other BT client.
If you send garbage, the client BT will reject your data, because it
doesn't match the torrent file (that comes from OpenIndiana, a secure
source).
