It's on a Dell optiplex 755 with 4GB not in a VM box ;-)
Anyway seems to have gone through now and I have a new BE (Joy!)

My 2d to everyone working on this project is a huge amount of thanks!

It all ran through fine for me.

But I did have to add more memory to my VM to get through the upgrade 
(1GB wasn't enough).
