Thanks for all your feedback.

I think a web-based monitoring and management console is the way to
go, then you can run it locally on Solaris or in any browser remotely
(I will probably mount an Asus EEE T91MT in the front of my case)...

I have setup a bounty of $200, feel free to bolster this, and this has
