Hi Deano,

Good suggestions, well worth making, but this card doesn't have any RAID on 
board; that is one reason it appealed to me, a lack of frills that I didn't 
need.

Unfortunately, I think that the lack of frills is also behind why there isn't 
any changeable BIOS option. There is no key combination on screen, or in the 
skimpy manual that comes with it. 

Checking on highPoint's web site, there also isn't any bios upgrade and the 
link to the on-line manual is broken.

I really am stuck.
