[OpenIndiana-discuss] libmlib missing

Hi,

I installed mplayer and found that libmlib was missing from /usr/lib.
After googling the problem I found that a posting indicating that the 
problem could be resolved by performing a pkg install medialib

# pkg install medialib

If I compile medialib myself and install it into /usr/lib I will be able 
to get round the problem, can this problem be resolved in oi_150 so that 
it is not dependant on a release of medialib which is has not been 
released by Oracle. When OpenIndiana is based on IllumOS will this 
dependancy also be removed.
