Thanks Roy, What you say makes sense. I guess I'm just going to have to export the data set before I shut down and make the changes. It will be interesting if I have a channel fail and need to put the rpool on a different port. Not that this happens every day, though. I'll have to run some tests. Cheers, Michelle.
