[OpenIndiana-discuss] Kernel Panic installing openindiana on a HP BL460c G1

Hello! A bit of a long e-mail and large attachment but I want to be as
thorough as possible.

It says that the blade is pending HP-support for Solaris 10 Update 9 -
has anybody got it working?
We have several bl460c g1 running SunOS 5.11 snv_134.

When I try to install it, it kernel panics at 0%. By adding -k to the
grub line I got the the :msgbuf (attached in .zip file - several .jpg
files), but I don't understand most of it. If anybody could help me shed
some light in this I would appreciate it a lot!

The server has an e200 controller and there are solaris 10 drivers for
it here:
http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareIndex.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodNameId=3288156&prodTypeId=3709945&prodSeriesId=1842750&swLang=8&taskId=135&swEnvOID=2023
<http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareIndex.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodNameId=3288156&prodTypeId=3709945&prodSeriesId=1842750&swLang=8&taskId=135&swEnvOID=2023>

I've the extracted driver from HP and put it on the boot media (add
additional driver before install, F4 for Media, browse to the directory)
but when I chose the .Z file of the driver under
/media/CD-ROM/tmp/2.4.5/DU/sol_211/i86pc/Product/cpqary3.Z - and try to
install it fails - 'rescan device'. I tried to unpack the .Z with 'gzip
-d', chose the .pkg file as well but still wouldn't install.

But without adding the drivers the installation of text-based-server
both 148 and 151 finds the logical volume (c1t0d0) and the free space.
In the :msgbuf it finds sd1 and cpqary3 (which is the name of the driver
you can download from hp). I know that ZFS wants JBOD access to the
disks but we don't have that kind of mezzanine card. So maybe the
controller driver isn't the issue?

On the physical drives there were a solaris installation before but I
tried to eraze drive information (so that when I try to boot from the
disks it gives 'no os found error') - but install still failed. However,
after trying and failing to install the GRUB menu came back. The reason
why we install is because the ZFS root pool got corrupted.

The kernel panic is here: http://pastebin.com/YEF7XSNp

The c$ (or the panic) looks the same on both oi 148 and 151.

I've tried to hit 'pfexec touch ADD_DRV_IGNORE_ROOT_BASEDIR' in the
shell during install.

The DDU finds an 'HP ILO2 virtual UART' device - ilo being the remote
management (out of band) so I haven't looked for drivers.

Anybody have some ideas? Something I've missed? This is my first time
installing openindiana on a physical machine.

p.s. with the live-cd oi-dev-148-x86.iso the mouse or keyboard doesn't
work through ILO.
