[OpenIndiana-discuss] OI-151: test drive

After performing "sudo pkg image-update", which only seems to have
downloaded the nvidia packages (because that's the only thing being
different?), I restarted the server which boots into "openindiana-1".

And then I couldn't type into the login form at all.

So I powered off the server and power it on again - I can log in, but
then the desktop locks up straight away.

Power cycled again, and it seems to be working at the moment (I'm
typing this email on it). I googled and use the following command to
check the version of nvidia driver:

$ modinfo | grep -i nvidia
 87 fffffffff7d14000 a44008  62   1  nvidia (nvidia %I% Jun  8 2011 17:21:57)

Does that look right?

Alex.
