OK this is not the right place to discuss this problem, but on a
machine that runs Oracle Solaris 11 Express snv_151a X86 I see
the following:


$ pwd
/usr/lib/gtk-2.0/modules
$ ls 
libatk-bridge.so           libgail-gnome.so
libcanberra-gtk-module.so  libgail.so
libferret.so

 
Also, I installed the tarball in /usr/local and I have remotely tested that it works.
So obviously your system is not in good shape.
