[OpenIndiana-discuss] OpenIndiana or what??

I have seen some conflicting emails on other lists that seem to say "do 
not use openindiana, please use <no idea what> based on snv_160!"

What gives? Are they talking about something else altogether, or is 
there a useful alternative to openindiana?
