I can find various comments about 3TB boot disks are not going to work and
hints that 3TB data disk should be fine. I could not find any posts saying
3TB don't work so I thought I would give it a try. I suspect that it is
purely a partitioning problem, I have tried many ways to create a partition
greater than 2TB, but the format command only see a 2TB drive. Giving zpool
the whole disk creates a 2 TB partition as well.

I have posted the problem on their forums to see what their answer.
