Hello

I have a storage server running oi 148 with a twin-port QLogic fiber channel card with both ports set to target mode (using the qlt driver)
The default installation would use the qlc (initiator) driver.

When upgrading using pkg image-update the following error is thrown and the upgrade aborts:

PHASE ACTIONS
Removal Phase 17511/17511
Install Phase 14708/14708
Update Phase 31604/32171Action upgrade failed for 'qlc' (pkg://openindiana.org/driver/network/qlc):
RuntimeError: The 'qlc' driver shares the alias 'pciex1077,2532' with the 'qlt' driver; both drivers cannot be installed simultaneously. Please remove
the package delivering 'qlt' or ensure that the package delivering 'qlc' will not be installed, and try the operation again.
The running system has not been modified. Modifications were only made to a clone of the running system. This clone is mounted at /tmp/tmpVABfH0 should you wish to inspect it.
pkg: image-update failed: The 'qlc' driver shares the alias 'pciex1077,2532' with the 'qlt' driver; both drivers cannot be installed simultaneously. Please remove

I can of course get around this by shutting down the updating the driver to use the qlc driver - but this will result in rather longer downtime whilst the system is upgraded

I wondered if there is a better way to update the system whilst running the non-default qlt driver...?
