Whatever HBA you have ... If it worked under opensolaris and it's not working under openindiana (which is kind of funny) ... Don't you remember installing a driver before?  Have you tried using opensolaris again?  You might want to search for opensolaris / openindiana / driver / and the make/model of your HBA.
