Looking at the tarball, it has the compiled drivers in it.  Untar them,
then move e1000g_illumos/debug32/e1000g to /kernel/drv/e1000g and
e1000g_illumos/debug64/e1000g to /kernel/drv/amd64/e1000g.

You might want to save the originals by renaming them before doing this.
