[OpenIndiana-discuss] iSCSI disaster recovery on two servers running Comstar services

Hello,

I have some questions about the disaster recovery of a Comstar iSCSI volume.

We have two equal servers, with both running Comstar service to serve 
iSCSI volumes.

I do zfs send and receive of all iSCSI volumes to an other  server and I 
copy a backup of the Comstar configuration to the other server, too.

My problem is now, that both servers have Comstar iSCSI volumes 
configured and if one server fails, how can I bring back up the iSCSI 
volumes of the failed server?

Normally, I load the configuration backup to the other server's Comstar 
service and import the iSCSI volumes, but this is not possible, because 
the other server has also a running Comstar configuration.
What is the best solution here? Is it possible to merge the Comstar 
configuration of the failed server and the running server?
Has someone any experience with this constellation?
