+1 I've been trying to figure this out for years. But mine is on bare metal. I tried everything I could think of but no luck. The strange thing is that it sometimes is fast, but most times I wait about several seconds.

Any thoughts where to look? It's got to be something that is different
between the two OI hosts, but offhand, I'm not sure where to look.
