[OpenIndiana-discuss] Package not realy uptodate on hipster

Before  hipster (now 1028 packages) become a prestable oi151a9, packages (easy to compile), too old, EOL or obsolete should be upgraded.


1) Bind 9.6ESV R10 (extended support) is declared EOL). ISC new Extended Support Version is now 9.9.4-P1 (hipster is EOL 9.6ESV R9)

2) NTP latest stable is 4.2.6p5 hipster is 4.2.5.200 (RHEL 6.5 is 4.2.6p5)

3) WU-FTPd is unmaintened and shoud be replaced by ProFTPD.

4) 1.0.1e is a better choice than OpenSSL 0.9.8y (RHEL 6.5 is now 1.0.1e)



Who known the month  planned for the next OI release if any ?
