[OpenIndiana-discuss] pkg and HTTP proxies

Hello all,

   Our hosts in the LAN require an HTTP proxy server for external
internet, such as access to the http://pkg.openindiana.org repo,
which requires one to set "http_proxy" like would be for wget.
However, the LAN proxy does not access local replicas of the repo
including those running on the localhost of the upgrading machine.
This works when the http_proxy is unset...

   Is it possible (or a good RFE) to specify that proxies should
be used (or not used) for specific repo mirrors/origins?
