[OpenIndiana-discuss] Installation hint for munin or any other better soft

I decided to install the munin.I've found this link

description but the writer why chosen the perl 5.16.0?
In that time he could reach the perl 5.17.0.The numbers say me the 
5.17.0 was the latest.
Much more important which perl version is the latest in this moment and 
fit for OI? Thanks.
