[OpenIndiana-discuss] Are there any known problems with OI and jumbo frames MTU 9000

My advice is to keep things simple and use 1500 MTU size.
As stated in the other answer the performance gain is minimal.
So the extra complexity of the network configuration is not worth the 
trouble with todays faster hardware.
