Also, what kind of hardware are we talking about? We need to know the
types of buses involved (SATA/SAS/FC), pool topology and port
configurations where applicable.
For example: if you are trying this on your home PC box with SATA ports
in IDE emulation mode, I can tell you right away that hot-plug won't
work. IDE doesn't support that, you'll need to switch your SATA ports
into AHCI mode for that to work.
