[OpenIndiana-discuss] It was so easy... Re: xvnc-inetd only accepting one connection in total?? Huh??

Persistence: That's a choice: you either get
a dynamic and least-preconfigured system
or you get
a system with persistent displays, a fixed set of displays per user, and
each display number tied to a specific user.
You might as well require all users to do the ssh tunnel trick.
For the display-tied-to-user case: add a new (SMF) service for each
possible display. Make sure you set DisplaysPerHost high enough: All VNC
displays are of type LocalVNC, and are local to the server. So
DisplaysPerHost in /etc/gdm/custom.conf must be upped enough to cover
yer needs. Set it to 32 for 4 displays each for 6 users. I dunno where
the extra two disappear.????
Don't forget the DontaAllowTCP=false setting.
The ck-seat-tool seems unworkable, so far: it is almost right for
setting up an open first-come-first-served display set. However, this
tool seems to be a special for Sun+SunRay use, and bugs unrelated to
SunRays are probably never noticed by those responsible.
I have ONE Solaris server working right as far as remote login via xvnc
goes, and all others fail. And I cannot see the difference..
