Errr... sorry, I can't see the relation to GUI or server version. I've mainly used the server version so the commands should work. Or am I missing something?

Yes, that's what I mean. And yes, it *should* work.

Not anymore. Like I stated, I've now installed the text server version,
and want to add Gnome. I am *not* re-installing the GUI LiveCD version
again.

Going to bed now...long day tomorrow.
