yep, a complete flash upgrade all around including hba is standard operating procedure in my book.

this is probably a best practice, unless you run on supermicro. they tell you not upgrade unless you have a specific problem addressed by the new rev. this is because they don't do any regression testing and also the reason i don't buy supermicro, but i digress.
