[OpenIndiana-discuss] Filebench build errors (Invalid section attribute)

Hi list,
I am not able to compile filebench and iozone (file system benchmarks) on
openindiana. I get the following error messages for filebench.
Assembler: eventgen.c

"/var/tmp//ccrzaq70.s" line 3 : Syntax error

The build errors are of the same nature for iozone too.
Can anyone tell me what is wrong?

I have gcc4.6 installed (from the sfe repo)
