I'd lose the optical drives (booting off of USB sticks is faster anyway) and
install one of the multibay drive cages sized for multiple 5.25" bays.

I'm happy with my IcyDock FlexCage MB975SP-B trayless SATA cage - it fits five
disks in 3 5.25" bays.
