[OpenIndiana-discuss] qemu-kvm fails to recognise vnic over rge0

helloi ve removed virtualbox fully by reverting to my previous snapshot and now i wish to learn and use qemu-kvm by running windows as a VM [honestly if i can succeed, i may stop using windows on a ntfs disk !]
this is what i get :
root at openindiana:~# ./start-windows.sh
qemu-kvm: -net vnic,vlan=0,name=net0,ifname=vnic1,macaddr=2:8:20:85:88:c6: vnic dhcp disabled

qemu-kvm: qemu: Unsupported NIC model: rge0
actual MAC address of rge0 is 78:24:af:3d:b7:ab [if this may help]
what next ?
